Police warn drivers after thieves target Bannockburn parked cars
Police are urging Bannockburn drivers to lock their cars and remove any valuables when they leave their vehicles unattended after incidents involving parked cars in the town.
Fifteen cars have been targeted in the Stirling area since Saturday January 28 and personal possessions have been taken.
Cars parked in Bannockburn, as well as St Ninians, Braehead, Torbrex and have all been targeted.
A Central Scotland Police spokeswoman said: “It only takes seconds to prevent a thief stealing from you and that is done by taking basic precautions.
“Remove any valuables from sight and lock your car.”
