Discuss future plans for area at Bannockburn Primary meeting
15 NovemberThe future for the Bannockburn and Whins of Milton area will be up for debate at a meeting with councillors from all political parties at Bannockburn Primary School.
The meeting to discuss future development proposals for the area is being held on Tuesday 22nd November from 7pm to 9pm with the local community invited to share views and opinions.
The meeting follows the recent well-attended drop-in session in the village where local residents were given the opportunity to view and comment on the Draft Proposed Local Development Plan, and will take the form of a ‘Community Discussion Session’.
Stirling Council’s Portfolio Holder with responsibility for Environment and Sustainability Councillor Jim Thomson said: “Residents will have had a chance to digest the draft development proposals and may have further questions they would like to put to the panel of councillors. It is important that everyone in the community is able to have their say on this very important issue.”
At the drop-in sessions local people are able to find out more about what the Draft Plan proposes for their community. Planning Officers will be on hand to explain the development proposals and answer any queries. Comments on the Draft Local Development Plan should be made in writing, or by email to ldp@stirling.gov.uk
